What makes us different?
We are a not-for-profit organisation aiming to improve social conditions, and are committed to publishing titles that will have an impact on research, learning, policy and practice. We reinvest in our publishing activities, which benefits authors, customers and the community rather than shareholders. We also take peer review very seriously and our titles go through both proposal and typescript reviews to ensure they are of the highest quality and meet the needs of the intended audience.
Our growing global presence
Our authors range from leading scholars and thinkers from around the world to talented first-time authors.
