It uniquely adopts a cross-country comparison of policy and practice in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to draw out lessons for each nation. It is especially topical given the importance placed on such partnerships by the Labour Government in the UK and by the European Union. This report will be important reading for policy makers and practitioners in the field of regeneration of rural communities.
