Ageing & Gerontology
We are building a strong name in this area and work closely with the British Society of Gerontology (BSG) and Help the Aged (HtA), both key organisations within the field. The links between research, policy and practice are very evident in ageing studies and this is a real strength of our list.
Our main book series in this area – Ageing and the Lifecourse, edited by Judith Phillips – provides readers internationally with much-needed, high quality texts based on the latest research. The series focuses on the social rather than medical aspects of ageing and uses a lifecourse perspective.
